We are a family run business and have mostly British Friesian cattle. The 'Lismulligan' prefix has been registered since 1965 when the first pedigree purchase was made from the Barbican herd of David Heenan. We
are situated near Largoward, Fife in Scotland, having just recently
moved from Rathfriland in Co. Down in N.Ireland. Selective breeding for sound legs and feet has delivered its own reward. Classification for legs and feet is in the top echelon of UK Friesian herds. Stock sires from Terrington and more recently the Catlane and Culverness herds have made a major contribution to this very successful breeding programme. The herd has always enjoyed a ready outlet for surplus dairy stock, both locally and and further a field. Repeat purchasing has always been the order of the day _ The herds best advert! The cows are fed on a self-feed silage system and out of parlour feeders and have been computerised since 1982. Basil & Margaret Lawson
